Built On Trust recently completed a project at my home involving fascia, soffit and trim replacement due to rot along with replacing the front steps, new gutters, gutter guards, front door refinishing and exterior house painting.
Javier’s carpentry work was exceptional compared to other work I had done in the past. His work ethic was also exceptional and something you don’t often see today.
We were very pleased with the results of the work completed by Built On Trust and would recommend others to consider them for their home repair needs. We feel comfortable calling on Javier/Built On Trust for any future work.

Javier is a trained engineer, and it shows in his level of detail and care in the work he does. He does the work himself so it is done right, and he is professional, fair, honest, reliable, and provides great value. He built a deck for me and exceeded my expectations, and then I had him perform other work. I trust him and referred him to all of my neighbors, and look forward to working with him on upcoming projects.

We’ve used Javier for several jobs at our home in Garner, NC. He does excellent work at a fair price. I would highly recommend Built On Trust contracting.

We found Built on Trust through an online site and are so glad we did. We asked Javier to come out, look at our projects, and give us an estimate. He came out within a day, said he could do it, and began taking measurements and pictures. Within a few days, we had a contract, and he began working. We chose him over top, leading sunroom and four season room builders, because we liked what we saw, his knowledge and his price was way under some others. No fluff.
We became friends with Javier as he completed our job and remained friends afterwards. He did an outstanding job, and we could not have been happier. We have asked him back to do other work for us and referred him to other people. You could not make a better choice.

Great service, honest, reliable are a few adjectives I would use to describe Built on Trust and its owner, Javier. I was referred to Built on Trust by friends who had just had their bathroom remodeled. They did a fabulous job and were competitively priced. I needed all my outdoor lights (motion detectors) replaced. I contacted Javier and he was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He made several suggestions that I would not have thought of and I agreed that it made sense to make the changes he presented.
Javier even went the extra mile and went with me to purchase the fixtures, because I wasn’t 100% certain as to what to buy. I highly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed.

In 2024, we worked with Built on Trust to add a 500 square foot addition to our home, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From start to finish, the entire team lived up to their name — they were truly built on trust. The project management was seamless, communication was clear and consistent, and every timeline they gave us was met (or even exceeded). The crew treated our home with the utmost respect, keeping the worksite neat and minimizing disruptions throughout the process. The craftsmanship is exceptional.
Every detail — from the framing and finishes to the trim work and paint — was completed with precision and care. The new space blends perfectly with the original structure, both inside and out, as if it had always been a part of our home. What really stood out was their honesty and transparency. They provided straightforward pricing, explained each step of the process, and delivered exactly what was promised without hidden costs or surprises. That peace of mind was invaluable during a major project like this.
Thanks to Built on Trust, we now have a beautiful, functional addition to our home that our family will enjoy for many years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work, reliability, and a contractor who genuinely cares about their clients.

Javier and Built on Trust have done several repairs at my house, including replacing the roof, installing a fold-down ladder into the attic with a safety rail at top, and replacing rotted wood under a sliding door. Their work is excellent. They come when they say they will come, they clean up after their work, and their attitude is pleasant. I feel safe having them around my house and I am pleased with their work.

Built-on Trust does live up to its name. Javier, its owner, is honest, reliable and worthy of recommending to anyone who is looking for a general contractor. He installed a roof in my house and did a wonderful job. I saw him install floors, build giant sheds and so on. His expertise has no match.

They did a great job repairing my walls and ceilings. Quick response, good quality work. I feel very comfortable to work with them.

I am a big fan because Javier is on the job himself … he doesn’t just quote work and then leave it to under-experienced workers to complete on their own. He is there and makes sure the job is done right. That is why I am a return customer. The deck was a complex multi-level odd shape with built in arbors, seating, and Japanese style piers to connect to another side deck. Showed him a few photos of the style I was trying to achieve and sketches of the floorplan I wanted.
He took it from there and did a great job. I made a mid-project seating change and he was very accommodating. I have also had him do roofing work some time ago, and he did an excellent job with an excellent architectural shingle product. It not only still looks great but it has not leaked since. He has also done various small wood repair jobs for me and interior painting and renovations (popcorn removal). I am a happy customer.

Dear Javier,
We have known you for almost 15 years from our church. In the last 8 years you have done great work for us on our deck, and the rotted frames around our door. Plus GIVEN us easy to follow advice, and any instructions for problems around our house. Your early quotes were quick and reasonable. The work was very professional, well measured and clean, especially at the end of your project. We were very pleased with the time frame, courtesy and knowledge of Javier for our required jobs.
